Back Story
Principal Denise Morocco’s design career rests on a four-square foundation:
- Construction experience for two decades ensures that Morocco assesses job sites, drafts architectural drawings herself and approaches methods and materials with a builder’s eye.
- Design training and projects at Today’s Interiors (5 years), an established design firm in New Canaan, CT, steeped Morocco in the fundamentals of traditional design, materials sourcing and client relationships.
- Morocco Interiors, her Hong Kong-based design firm (4 years), built business acumen and knowledge of the glorious bounty of Asian design.
- Successful redesigns in Manhattan and farther afield in the tri-state area confirm Kent Interiors’ geographic range and its mastery of diverse projects. High-end residential work, assignments from first-time design consumers and sustainable initiatives for municipalities… all appear in the firm’s portfolio.
Today’s Story
Kent Interiors builds from this base, balancing color saturation, textural variety, natural and organic materials and art. Kent Interiors happily (re)uses and repurposes clients’ own pieces, offering a simple way to practice sustainability and ensure that clients are indeed “at home” in their newly-remodeled space.
Kent Interiors brings their training, experience and creativity to the drawing board. But at the end of the design day, what they really do is voice your hopes, build your dreams, light your way.
